The Consultation

A full medical history is taken during the consultation and the treatment explained fully. The consultation can be carried out at our own aesthetic clinic in Rawtenstall, Lancashire, at one of our partner salons or we do home visits across Lancashire or the Manchester area. Amanda will advise you which dermal filler is suitable for your face and discuss the exact requirements of your treatment. No skin test is required as this is not an animal derived product. A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin prior to injection to make the treatment more comfortable and ensure discomfort is kept to a minimum. The Dermal Filler is injected into the area with a very fine needle instantly lifting the skin, defining contours and volumising the face.

There may be slight redness immediately after treatment that will resolve within a few hours. Occasionally there may be minimal bruising that can be covered with makeup. The cosmetic effects are visible instantly.

Treatments take up to an hour and most people go straight back to normal daily life afterwards.
